7 Things I do when I don't feel okay

As someone who has suffered from anxiety and depression for many years, I have learnt to listen to my body and my mind, and find ways to cope during days that are not great. Whilst aware that people tend to have different coping mechanisms, I thought I might share mine, in the off chance that they might be of help to someone out there.

7 Shows that helped me through anxiety and depression


1. Merlin. Merlin is the show that has done the most to help me get through some really bad days. There was a time when I was having pretty bad panic attacks. I could barely sleep. I could not bear to spend the night on my own bed; if I tried, I would start shaking. Thoughts so bad would overwhelm me. I started sleeping, or at least trying to sleep, on the couch. I would scour the web for whatever could distract me. That was when I found Merlin.
